I took it for regular maintenance in May 2021, which is not even a year and a half ago.

The mileage is about 14,000km in about 2 years, so it's not that much, but I think there are various parts that need to be checked and replaced.

I have no choice but to take it (no?).

First, I called the Perodua service center, but I couldn't answer, so I left a message on the answering machine asking them to call me back, but after that, I didn't hear anything.

This happens all the time, so I don't mind it.

Then, at a good time, I received this SMS message from them.

They may have heard the message on the answering machine, but it could just be a coincidence.

Either way, I replied with the desired date and time and the car number as in the message.

    Again, no reply!

What does it mean to send a message from them and then be ignored when you reply to it? ?

    I'm really angry.

Two weeks passed and nothing had changed, so I called on a weekday afternoon and finally got through.

I told them that I needed some maintenance and some repairs due to certain circumstances, and that I wanted to bring it in today, Friday, which happened to be a holiday, and they said that the only slot available was at 1:30pm.

    So I went.

I left my car and waited in the waiting room for about an hour and a half.

    They said it was done.

The work included changing the engine oil and filter, replacing the gasket and air conditioner filter, cleaning the injectors, sterilizing the interior, etc.

The total came to RM376.40 (about 11,300 yen).

There didn't seem to be any particular problems.

By the way, the repair was that the skirt on the bottom left of the front bumper had come off (torn) due to certain circumstances.

When driving, this hits the tires and makes a lot of noise.

When I asked when making the reservation, I was told that it would cost RM263 (about 8,000 yen) to replace it, but when I looked at it after the work was done, it seemed that they had somehow attached it to the body of the car so that it wouldn't come off.

When I looked at the invoice, I saw that I had not been charged for the parts or labor.

    Thank goodness.

Now I should be able to drive comfortably for a while again.

My own car, not my company car, was bought about 2 years ago. Perodua's ARUZ I have participated in the ranking! Please click if you like!
