Delica D5 EGR malfunction

It's not easy to remove

The bolts with the red arrows are quite tricky and difficult

Of course, I removed the intake manifold

To remove the intake manifold, I had to move the power steering pump, move the alternator, and remove both brackets

EGR removed

As expected

Intake manifold covered in soot

The throttle body was relatively better

Soot that came out after cleaning the intake manifold (I regret not putting a newspaper underneath it)

And the biggest challenge of cleaning

Cleaning the soot from the intake port....

It's out of focus, but I cleaned it up

I wonder how many hours I struggled in total...

This Delica A vehicle with about 110,000 km on it, not just a little bit

Depending on how you drive it, clean diesels will get clogged with soot after 50,000 to 60,000 km

Also, there will be clogging of the injectors and DPF

If you drive a long distance, the maintenance costs will be quite high, so be prepared~
