World of Warcraft Upgrades and item upgrade Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses, such as crit chance and PvE damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will increase 3% of its previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the level of the item increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor in order to give them a stat boost or an extra effect. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

The player can get up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will appear at the time of the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know how much it will be improved after the reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failed upgrade will ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the risk of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes in their radius and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed using the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values that it can improve a statistic by, and the value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a Glyph of the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each level of an item requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned, you will be able to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item it will be replaced by a new item. The same armor will receive a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set of bonuses. This can be a downside since the item may be more expensive even if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do so. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will come with a level 1 base and a different set of bonus bonuses. This can be beneficial, but should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, allows the player to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants a buff if the player is repeatedly in or exits water. The item can be upgraded many times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is extremely useful in PvP battles, since a perfectly rolled version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally the item will be deducted any bonuses it gained such as crit chance and attack damage, and all additional effects associated with the effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For instance an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items will have a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For example they may require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. However, players will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients needed to upgrade.
