Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum with mop vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've examined so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and also dry your mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot vacuum performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition the mops aren't efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It also comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot and is continuously supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot vacuum cleaners reviews brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat manner. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
